About

CSS Pinoy is not just another CSS website showcase. The one thing that makes CSS Pinoy unique is that the websites presented in the showcase are designed and crafted by Filipino designers from all over the globe.

What is CSS?

CSS is the shorthand term for Cascading Style Sheets. It is simply defined by w3c as a simple mechanism for adding style (e.g. fonts, colors, spacing) to Web documents. You can find more definitions of CSS on google.

How can my site be included in the showcase?

First, your website must be designed using CSS. Second, your website must have a clean tableless layout. Tables can be used but only for what it was meant for, tabular data. Your website must of course look good. The most important thing of all is that the website must be made by a Filipino designer from anywhere around the world. CSSPinoy aims to promote the Filipino talent.

How do I submit a website?

For now, you must email the url and title of the website to be submitted to submit[at]csspinoy[dot]com. It would be cool if you add a little description of the site and the name of the author.

What if the site doesn’t validate?

Every now and then we commit litle mistakes or errors that is beyond our control. Of course its a plus if the site validates but we must remember that nothing is perfect.
